Asymmetric Reality - Disintegrate now also drains energy from opponents recovering energy each time it hits.

Heart of the Storm (Offensive) - Ice Armor now electrocutes enemies but no longer gives an absorb shield.

Halestone (Defensive) - Ice Armor now gives six charges of damage absorption and chills enemies when they attack you.

Entropic Edge - Disintegrate now also has increased damage based on the distance to the target.

Note: This essence is better than the Hexflood essence once it's awakened because it gives a reduced Disintegrate cost.

Charged Stigma - Electrocute now also increases your primary attack speed stacking up to five times.

Mask of Many - Slow Time now automatically channels your charge skills which includes Disintegrate.

Raptor's Tail - When Disintegrate hits a Shocked enemy it releases lightning that damage up to three enemies.

1. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - Deals additional damage every five times you deal damage to an enemy.

2. Skybreaker's Bolt (2 Set) - Unleashes lightning that Shocks enemies and damages enemies over time.

3. Vithu's Urges (2 Set) - Increases your beneficial effects duration by 30%.​

Note: Look for blue sockets on both of your rings so that you can socket them with Sapphires and/or Aquamarines.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance on cooldown and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.​

3. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration on cooldown.

4. Blood Floe - This five star gem gives increased damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

5. Wulfheort - Marks enemies for a medium duration causing them to take extra damage on hit and increases attack speed.​

6. Fated Trail - Deals a percentage of your life as damage, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

7. Wulfheort - Marks enemies dealing damage to them when they're hit on cooldown and increases attack speed.

8. Void Spark - Deals AoE damage that's very effective for challenge dungeons, terror rifts, and speed farming.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a damaging spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase and increases your damage against elites and bosses.

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage for each enemy drained up to three but it's drop disabled.

6. Viper's Bite - A nice gem for early on that deals high damage over time if you have low legendary gems and resonance.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem that gives increased damage and reduced damage taken but it's drop disabled.

8. Igneous Scorn - Can be combined with other critical hit chance legendary gems to deal damage on critical hits.

Note: Pain Clasp is triggered by the burn from Disintegrate when using the Searing Judgment shoulder essence.

Best 1 Star Starter Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A solid one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and your attack speed.

​3. Everlasting Torment - Deals damage over time on critical hits and triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp gem.

4. Trickshot Gem - A budget gem that lowers channeling costs which allows you to channel Disintegrate for longer.

5. Surging Sea - A strong one star gem for this build that quickly stacks increased skill damage that stacks up to ten times.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a strong one star gem that requires a high ranked up five star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior for a cheat death and Lingering Wounds which increases your damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for three seconds. They can have 170+ Resilience to reduce the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills on a budget.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and use your highest refinement Citrines and Topazes in yellow sockets. Citrines are offensive gems because they give increased potency which increases the duration of damage over time effects for slightly improved damage. You should use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can also optionally combine all of your Rubies which give more maximum life and socket one or two of them in your equipment if they give higher refinement. Normal gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes of the equipment the normal gems are socketed in.​

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star legendary gem is a powerful gem once you have high maximum life from plenty of ranked up five star gems. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Seeping Bile and Viper's Bite gems aren't needed to trigger the damage increase on the Pain Clasp gem from having continuous damage on the target because Disintegrate burns enemies with this build. When using increased critical hit chance legendary gems like Roiling Consequence, Blood Floe, and/or Mother's Lament you can also benefit from rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment slots for increased damage.​
