Diablo Immortal: The New PvP Blood Knight Build

Abomination Blood Knight Skills and Equipment:

Main Hand

Maw and Response - Whirling Strike now counterattacks and is triggered automatically by the recommended shoulders.

Off-Hand

Woundwell (PvM) - Umbral Lance now instantly fires waves of projectiles and gains three charges.

Grimhound (PvP) - Abomination now also increases your damage the longer you remain near the enemy.

Blotniffe (PvM) - Umbral Lance now also deals greatly increased damage the further away you are from the target.

Mangler's Grove (PvP) - Abomination now increases your attack speed based on how much life you have remaining.

Off-Hand 2

Fiendish Memento - Activating Abomination increases your damage. After Abomination your movement speed is increased.

Helmet

Fallen Light (PvM) - Mephitic Cloud now follows you dealing high damage to nearby enemies.

Blood Feast (PvP) - Mephitic Cloud now follows you dealing damage to nearby enemies and drains life from enemies.

Chest

Unchained Fury (PvM) - Abomination (Shattering Fists) now charges and increases critical hit damage taken by enemies.

Skin Upon Steel (PvP) - Transfusion makes life drain instead increase its shield and is automatically activated at low life.

Shoulders

Anchored Agony - Abomination now continuously consumes your life to damage and slow nearby enemies but you also heal yourself for a large portion of the damage you deal in Abomination form.

Twin Omens - Abomination gains the Crimson Claw skill which pulls enemies into you and prevents enemies' dash skills.​

1. Gloomguide's Prize (4 Set) - Greatly increases critical hit chance for three seconds after using a dash skill.

2. Vithu's Urges (2-4 Set) - Increases the duration of beneficial effects by 30% and gives an attack speed increase.

3. Untouchable Mountebank (PvP 2 Set) - Gives a 20% chance to gain an absorb shield when you take damage.​​​​​

Note: Look for blue sockets on both of your rings for Sapphires or Aquamarines which give Armor Penetration or Armor.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.​

3. Haunt Coil - Greatly increases your damage or reduces your damage taken for a medium duration on cooldown.

4. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

5. Blood Floe - A solid five star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

6. Golden Firmament - Causes multiple ranged wind attacks and increases your evasion rating.

7. Starfire Shard (PvM) - This legendary gem deals AoE damage to enemies, stuns them, and burns them over time.

8. Seeping Bile (PvP) - Deals damage over time that procs the Pain Clasp gem and kills opponents after their cheat deaths.

9. Wulfheort (PvM) - After damaging enemies 5 times you slash them and increase attack speed for you and your allies.

10. ​Frozen Heart (PvP) - A strong legendary gem for PvP that gives an absorb shield and chills opponents.​

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that makes enemies bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - A strong gem that gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase when they're hit by your attacks.​

5. Viper's Bite - Poisons enemies on cooldown which triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp two star gem.

6. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's currently drop disabled.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong PvP legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

8. Igneous Scorn (PvM) - Deals damage on critical hits and increases your damage after critical hits.

9. Abiding Curse (PvP) - Greatly lowers enemies' attack speed and movement speed and gives a damage increase.

Note: Pain Clasp, Crimson Behelit, and Mother's Lament are the top three two star gems and should be replaced last.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - An excellent budget one star gem with increased skill damage and increased attack speed.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem and requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for three seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience to reduce the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as an alternative.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage for PvM and Rubies for life for PvP in red sockets and a combination of Citrines and Topazes for potency and resistances in yellow sockets for the highest refinement. Potency increases harmful effects durations on enemies and resistances decrease harmful effects durations on you. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. Gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star gem is a powerful legendary gem that scales with your maximum life which increases with your resonance and it deals increased damage when you're using Rubies in red sockets. The fairly new Haunt Coil five star gem is also important to greatly improve your defenses in PvP when you're in a defensive stance. The Blood Floe five star gem is also a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem is great because it increases your skill damage, area of effect, size which also increases your movement speed, and gives knockback immunity. When using increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling critical hit damage on every piece of equipment with Reforge Stones. A lower priority legendary gem should be switched to the Frozen Heart five star legendary gem for PvP for an absorb shield and to chill opponents.​
