Diablo Immortal: The Best PvP Classes Ranked
Introduction: The Best PvP Classes And Builds Ranked
This guide contains the best PvP classes ranked against each other and is accurate for low to mid resonance players. You can find links in the rankings to the best builds for PvP for each class if you would like to see what builds are currently the strongest. You might also pick up some tips and tricks from the rankings about what makes each PvP class so powerful.

1. Barbarian - PvP Demoralize Barbarian
Barbarians are notorious for being powerful PvP builds even at low resonance. Barbarians become a force to be reckoned with in PvP once they discover the Undying Rage skill which gives a cheat death that can heal the Barbarian to full life. The Gladiator paragon gives another cheat death. They become even more powerful once they have a Savior familiar which gives another cheat death. Your equipment rolls from Reforge Stones can give another cheat death. See a pattern here? Barbarians are notoriously difficult to kill because they can make use of cheat deaths more than other classes without even using the Phoenix Ashes gem which gives another cheat death. They are, however, weak against Tempests.

2. Tempest - PvP Dash Tempest
The Tempest is one of the most powerful PvP class in the game for PvP New Mode and does excellent at PvP Normal Mode and Shadow Wars. Their dash attacks allow them to get into the fight and deal high burst damage and then get out of danger with their excellent mobility. They are then free to heal or return for another assault on their opponents. One of their greatest strengths is having an advantage over the best PvP class in our rankings the Barbarian.

3. Crusader - PvP Aura Crusader

Crusaders are extremely powerful at high resonance levels. They instantly consume their potentially very high damage over time effects using Condemn and have multiple aura rings that deal damage. High resonance Crusaders can usually make quick work of the lower resonance players in PvP fights. Not to mention Conjuration of Light which gives full damage immunity to the Crusader and their nearby party members. Their weakness? Tempests and Barbarians.

4. Demon Hunter - PvP Strafe Multishot Demon Hunter
The highest damage Demon Hunter build is the Strafe Multishot Demon Hunter which is a strong build in PvM and PvP. Demon Hunters are a powerful PvP class because they can attack from far away while moving with Strafe which counters multiple builds. This means Demon Hunters can deal high damage while they are out of range of most attacks.

5. Wizard - PvP Scorch Arcane Wind Wizard

While Wizards aren't the most powerful PvP class for getting kills in battlegrounds, Wizards are known for their excellent crowd control abilities. Wizards are powerful for winning battlegrounds when they focus on crowd control while also dealing damage. Wizards often win battleground matches for their team by using their excellent crowd control abilities.

6. Necromancer - PvP Corpse Lance Grim Scythe Orbit Necromancer

Necromancers have two strong PvP specs one being the traditional Corpse Lance Grim Scythe Necromancer which is popular with the whales (big money spenders) and the PvP Tank Wiltbloom Golem Necromancer which is excellent for tanking idols in battlegrounds. Necromancer is a powerful PvP class but it's ranked lower in our rankings because the Corpse Lance Grim Scythe Necromancer requires a fairly high resonance to work well in battlegrounds and the Golem Necromancer is somewhat slow to get kills even though it's a strong tank build.

7. Monk - PvP Tranquil Palm Exploding Palm Monk

The Monk class used to be very weak in PvP battlegrounds compared to other classes due to the meta Tempest Rush Cyclone Strike being susceptible to crowd control, not dealing as much damage as some of the other classes, and not having utility. The Monk class is now competitive with the introduction of untargetable Tranquil Palm Exploding Palm Monks which keep themselves from being targeted during their attacks. They can also now go invisible after using their Mystic Strike ability which makes them even more difficult to attack. These changes to the Monk meta made Monk competitive especially at high resonance levels due to how hard the Monk is to hit with the new changes to the class.

8. Druid - PvP Werebear Druid

The damage of a Druid as both a Werewolf and Werebear is currently lower than most of the other classes. Druids are the newest class to the game and while they can perform well in PvP as both a Werewolf and Werebear they still have a lot of room for improvement. The Werewolf form is similar to a Tempest in PvP using dashes and then getting out of the fight until the next round of dashes and the Werebear form is the tank PvP option but it's sometimes slow to get kills. Overall the Druid in PvP deals less damage than most other classes and we'll have to wait to see if that changes overtime.

9. Blood Knight - PvP Abomination & Ranged Projectile Blood Knight

Blood Knights are the weakest PvP Normal Mode class in the rankings because their dash attacks while effective in PvM for attacking on the move don't deal enough damage in PvP. Blood Knights do better in PvP New Mode where dash attacks can hit groups on the idols and then they can simply dash and run back over to the green healing area and heal as many times as they need. In PvP Normal Mode Blood Knights often have to rely on their Swarm of Bats, ranged attacks like the projectile form of Whirling Strike, or their primary attack if they want to deal decent damage. Overall Blood Knights are weaker than the competition and I'd like to see the developers improve the Blood Knight meta for PvP in a future update.

End Note

Diablo Immortal PvP isn't just about how high your resonance is or how much money you can spend. Sometimes the build you choose and the time you spend can make a huge difference in your damage. Low to mid resonance players can be stronger even when there are multiple whales on the other team when they use the right class and build. Well that's all for this guide. If you wish to see more effective builds for each class you can look at the menu at the top of this page. If you don't see a build that you really want to play you can learn from what works and tweak it to your liking. Best of luck!
