Diablo Immortal: The Best PvP Classes Ranked
Introduction: The Best PvP Classes And Builds Ranked
This guide contains the best PvP classes ranked against each other for low to mid resonance players. You can also find links in the rankings that take you to the recommended PvP builds for each class. You might also be able to pick up a few strengths and weaknesses and tips and tricks from these rankings about what makes each PvP class so powerful.

1. Barbarian - PvP Demoralize Barbarian

Barbarians are notorious for being a powerful PvP class even at low resonance. Barbarians become a force to be reckoned with in PvP once they discover the Undying Rage skill which gives a cheat death that drains life from opponents. The Gladiator paragon gives another cheat death. They become even more powerful once they have a Savior familiar which gives another cheat death. Your equipment rolls from Reforge Stones can give another cheat death. See a pattern here? Barbarians are notoriously difficult to kill because they can make use of more and better cheat deaths without even using the Phoenix Ashes gem which gives another cheat death. They are, however, weak against Tempests.

2. Tempest - PvP Dash Tempest
The Tempest is one of the most powerful PvP classes in the game for PvP New Mode and it does excellent in PvP Normal Mode and Shadow Wars. Their dash attacks allow them to get into the fight and deal high burst damage and then get out of danger with their great mobility. They are then free to heal or return for another assault on their opponents. One of the greatest strengths of Tempests is having an advantage over the best PvP class in our rankings the Barbarian.

3. Crusader - PvP Aura Crusader

Crusaders are extremely powerful at high resonance levels. They instantly consume their potentially very high damage over time effects with Condemn when using the recommended essences and they have multiple damage aura rings that deal high damage to nearby opponents. High resonance Crusaders are extremely powerful and they usually make quick work of the lower resonance players in PvP fights. Not to mention Crusaders have Conjuration of Light which can give you and your nearby party members temporary full damage immunity. Their weakness? Tempests, Barbarians, and Demon Hunters.

4. Demon Hunter - PvP Strafe Multishot Demon Hunter
The highest damage Demon Hunter build at low resonance is the Strafe Multishot Demon Hunter which is a strong build for PvM and PvP. High resonance players sometime also prefer to use the Dash Spinning Chakram build for PvP instead. Demon Hunters are a powerful PvP class because they can attack from a distance while moving with Strafe which counters multiple builds. This means Demon Hunters can deal high single target damage while they're out of range of most attacks.

5. Wizard - PvP Scorch Arcane Wind Wizard

While Wizards aren't the most powerful PvP class in the game for getting kills in battlegrounds, Wizards are well known for their excellent crowd control abilities. The Arcane Wind Wizard skill with the recommended essences can slow enemies to a stand still especially if they're frozen and/or slowed inside your Arcane Wind. Wizards often win battleground matches for their team just by simply using their very strong crowd control abilities to limit their opponents mobility.

6. Monk - PvP Tranquil Palm Exploding Palm Monk

The Monk class used to be very weak in PvP battlegrounds compared to other classes because the old meta Cyclone Strike Tempest Rush Monk was very susceptible to crowd control and the Tempest Rush Monks also didn't deal as much damage as some of the other classes. The Monk class is now competitive with the introduction of the untargetable Tranquil Palm Exploding Palm Monk which keeps the Monk from being targeted during their assaults. The new Monk build can also go invisible after using Mystic Strike with the recommended essences which makes Monks even more difficult to attack. These changes to the Monk meta made Monk competitive because of how hard the new Tranquil Palm Monk is to target.

7. Blood Knight - PvP Abomination Blood Knight

Blood Knight is in seventh place for PvP because their damage is a little lower than some of the other classes but if you're a big spender you can be nearly unkillable with Abomination and Transfusion. Dash Blood Knights also do well in PvP New Mode where dash attacks can hit groups of opponents on an idol and then they can simply run and dash back to the green healing area, heal, and get back in the PvP New Mode fight. The Abomination Blood Knight is the highly recommended build for Blood Knight in PvP after changes to the meta and has replaced the old meta Dash Blood Knight for PvP.

8. Necromancer - PvP Corpse Lance Grim Scythe Orbit Necromancer

Necromancers have two strong PvP specs one being the traditional Corpse Lance Grim Scythe Necromancer which is popular with the whales (big money spenders) and the PvP Tank Wiltbloom Golem Necromancer which is excellent for tanking idols in battlegrounds. The Necromancer class is ranked lower in these PvP rankings because the Corpse Lance Grim Scythe Necromancer requires a fairly high resonance to work well in battlegrounds after receiving a major nerf and the Golem Necromancer is somewhat slow to get kills even though it's a very strong tank build.

9. Druid - PvP Werebear Druid

Druids are the newest class to the game and while they can perform well in PvP as both a Werewolf and Werebear they still have a lot of room for improvement. The damage of a Druid as both a Werewolf and Werebear is lower than most of the other classes in the game. The Werewolf form can fight with dashes similar to a Tempest with the recommended essences and the Werebear form is a great tank option with party buffs but it's also sometimes slow to get kills in PvP.

End Note

Diablo Immortal PvP isn't completely about how high your resonance gets or how much money you spend on the game. Sometimes the build you choose and the time you spend can make a huge difference in your damage for PvP. Low to mid resonance players can win battlegrounds even when there are multiple whales on the other team if they choose the right class and build. If you would like to see more builds for each class you can look at the menu at the top of this page. If you don't see a build that you really want to play you can learn from what works and tweak it to your liking. Good luck!
