Bone Spirits Necromancer Orbit Build Guide

Bone Spirits Necromancers should use the Soulfire primary attack with Bone Spirits, Bone Armor (offensive version), Corpse Lance, and Dark Curse. With the Death's Egress offhand essence Bone Spirits orbit you, with The Unattended helmet essence Bone Armor damages nearby enemies and reduce your damage taken, and with the Departed Appetite offhand essence Corpse Lance creates a vortex of bone that damages enemies. You can also reach the movement speed cap of 50% increased movement speed with the help of the Plattespauld shoulder essence. The Bone Spirits Necromancer build is debatably the best speed farming Necromancer build because of its defenses, AoE damage, and movement speed.

Paragons & Legendary Skills: Bone Spirits Necromancer Build

1. Vanquisher is the best paragon tree for damage and has magic find, increased damage, and attack speed on kills.

2. Gladiator is the best PvP paragon tree for this build because it gives a cheat death and helps with loss of control.

3. Vanquisher is the best paragon tree for increased magic find and has increased damage and attack speed on kills.

4. Harbinger can be used in Erebban for an absorb shield, movement speed, and to move unhindered through enemies.

5. Survivor is the recommended paragon for Vanguard because it provides a cheat death that works in Vanguard.

6. The recommended legendary skill is Lightning Rod which deals damage after hitting an enemy 10 times in 3 seconds.

Plattespauld - Bone Armor now increases your movement speed by 30%.

Note: You can reach the movement speed cap of 50% with these shoulders essence, the Blood-Soaked Jade legendary gem which gives 10% increased movement speed, and 10% increased movement speed from your equipment.

Chest

None Elude - Dark Curse now also increases the chance for enemies to be critically hit by you.

Legs

Fulsome Feeding - Dark Curse now deals damage in an area around you and spawns corpses.

Recommended Sets

1. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - This set deals damage after every 5 hits against a target.

2. Vithu's Urges (4 Set) - Increases your beneficial effects durations by 30% and increases your attack speed.

Best Curses

1. Lashed - Using your primary attack gives a chance to generate three crackling whips that damage enemies.

2. Wired - Useful for speed farming to create a surge of lightning on kill that jumps between enemies on cooldown.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Golden Firmament - Casts wind blades at enemies that deal damage and increases your evasion rating.

4. Starfire Shard - Deals AoE damage and stuns enemies in PvP inside the Maw of the Deep legendary gem effect.

5. Maw of the Deep - Used at a high rank to deal damage, gain a damage buff, draw in enemies, and stun enemies.

6. Void Spark (PvM) - Deals AoE damage that's very effective for challenge dungeons, terror rifts, and speed farming.

7. Frozen Heart (PvP) - A strong legendary gem for PvP that gives an absorb shield and chills opponents.

8. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, increased size (which also increases your movement speed), and knockback immunity for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies with a continual damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a blood spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Fervent Fang - Increases the damage taken by enemies each time they are hit stacking up to 10 times.

4. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

5. Mourneskull - Great legacy gem that increases your damage and deals damage but it's drop disabled.

6. Igneous Scorn - Can be used with Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament to deal damage on critical hits.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong PvP gem that gives increased damage and reduced damage taken but it's drop disabled.

Note: Pain Clasp is already triggered by Dark Curse so you won't need Viper's Bite or Seeping Bile to trigger it.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A great budget one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and attack speed.

3. Everlasting Torment - Deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem and requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler that has Savior which provides a cheat death. The 170+ Resilience lowers the cooldown for Savior but can be lower to make the Duskprowler more affordable.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Can have Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate which gives a chance at resetting the player's skill cooldown, Steel Hide which gives a chance to block, Precision which gives the shield critical hit chance, and Tenacity which lowers the cooldown of the shield are also desirable.

4. Magic Duskprowler - Duskprowler shields are hard to replace so a rare or magic ability Duskprowler is the budget option.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and Citrines for Potency which increases harmful effects duration in yellow sockets. You should also socket your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your Rubies which give life and Topazes which give resistances and use one or two of each in your equipment for higher refinement. Refinement is determined by the quality of the normal gem and increases the attributes of the equipment the gem is socketed in.

Gem Notes

The fairly new Colossus Engine five star legendary gem is great for this build because it increases your burst damage every 20 seconds when you're speed farming. The fairly new Specter Glass legendary gem is one of the best two star gems for almost every build. The Viper's Bite and Seeping Bile legendary gems aren't needed to trigger the damage increase on the Pain Clasp legendary gem from having a damage over time effect on the target because it's already triggered with the Dark Curse skill. Golden Firmament is a very strong legendary gem that has wind damage, increased evasion rating, and it triggers Firestorms when mixed with burning damage which gives increased wind damage. The Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament legendary gems are also great for increased critical hit chance. You should also consider rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment with Reforge Stones when using these critical hit chance gems. The Frozen Heart legendary gem is great for PvP but you really shouldn't PvP on this build because it's primarily for speed farming.
