Mistral Rend (Raid) - Arcane Wind now fires an arcane vortex that slows enemies and immobilizes slowed enemies.

Thistlebloom (AoE & PvP) - Arcane Wind now creates a wind storm that draws enemies into its vortex.

Trifling Piffle - When Lightning Nova hits a Shocked enemy it releases another Lightning Nova.

Ossified Chromotera - Slow Time now also increases your skill damage for a duration.

The Siphon (PvM) - Lightning Nova now also temporarily increases your movement speed.

Weathering Eye (PvP) - Arcane Wind now also reduces enemies' movement speed.​

Terminus Facade - Slow Time causes your non-channeled skills to lower cooldowns and increase your movement speed.

Stag of Ill Omen - Meteor now also increases your damage for a short duration.

Coat of the Astrum - Lightning Nova now arcs between enemies dealing extra damage against Shocked enemies.

Apocalypse Root - Gives Meteor three charges that recover very quickly with the Terminus Facade helmet essence.

Recommended Sets

1. Skybreaker's Bolt (2 Set) - Shocks enemies when they're damaged and deals damage over time to enemies.

2. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - Deals bonus damage every five times you deal damage to an enemy.

3. Vithu's Urges (2 Set) - Increases the duration of all beneficial effects by 30%.​​​

Note: Look for blue sockets on both of your rings so that you can socket them with Sapphires which give Armor Penetration.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Increases damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and gives movement speed.

3. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

4. Blood Floe - Strong gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

5. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

6. Wulfheort - Marks enemies for a duration causing them to take extra damage when they're hit on cooldown.

7. Haunt Coil - Increases your damage in offensive stance or reduces your damage taken in defensive stance.

8. Void Spark (PvM) - Deals massive AoE damage that's effective for challenge dungeons, terror rifts, and speed farming.

9. Seeping Bile (PvP) - Gives a chance to poison enemies and slows enemies' movement speed.

Note: Seeping Bile deals high damage over time and is great in PvP to kill opponents after they've used a cheat death.​​

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a blood spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase and increases your damage against elites and bosses.​

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's also drop disabled.

6. Viper's Bite - Lower priority two star legendary gem that deals damage over time and slows enemies attack speed.

7. Igneous Scorn (PvM) - Deals damage on critical hits and increases your damage after critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority 2 star legendary gem and should be the first to be replaced with a ranked up five star gem.

8. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A strong budget 1 star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and attack speed.

​3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is an excellent one star gem that requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as an alternative.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and your highest refinement Citrines and Topaz in yellow sockets. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can also optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life into one or two gems and socket them into your equipment if they give higher refinement for more attributes on your equipment.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star gem is a powerful legendary gem once you have high increased maximum life from ranked up five star gems. The fairly new Haunt Coil five star gem can be used to increase your damage or reduce your damage taken by up to 45% for a duration. The Blood Floe gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem is strong for this build because it provides high burst skill damage, increased area of effect, and increased movement speed from its size increase. The Seeping Bile five star gem is helpful in PvP and it has the added benefit of slowing opponents. When using critical hit chance legendary gems you should consider rolling critical hit damage on your equipment using Reforge Stones for more damage.​
