It's also an occasional game event with event rewards which can make it even more fruitful to complete. A common question many people wonder about is what are the best skills for completing Survivor's Bane? Below you can find a Diablo Immortal Survivor's Bane Skills Guide for the best skills to select and level up when playing the Survivor's Bane event.

The Best Survivor's Bane Skills:
The image above has the ideal skills to select and level when playing Survivor's Bane. The starting skill for Paladin, Blessed Shield, is one of the best primary skills to use and can be used on characters besides Paladin because it heals you. In the image you can see Blessed Shield, Skeletal Mage, Command Skeleton, Strafe, Multishot, and Condemn selected. This skill setup is currently recommended as the best load out for Survivor's Bane.

S Tier Skills:
1. Skeletal Mage - This is the only skill that's recommended in the ideal load out that needs to be unlocked from the achievements section. It's unlocked by leveling two Necromancer skills to their maximum level. It becomes one of the best skills because skeletal mages cast Bone Spirits instead of their normal attack once it's fully leveled. Using Skeletal Mage also lets you benefit from equipment that increases your damage based on how many summons you have active.
2. Strafe - This skill is powerful because it has excellent clear and because it does well with single target damage. At maximum level it also drops knife traps which is a minor benefit that damages enemies that move over them.
3. Condemn - This skill is the best skill for clearing the entire screen once it's at a high level. At its maximum level it makes you invincible while it's charging up which usually lasts for several seconds and it also casts fairly frequently.
4. Blessed Shield - This is the base attack for Paladin but can optionally also be chosen on other classes because it casts a large number of Blessed Shields that each heal you when they return to you at maximum level which helps keep you alive.

A Tier Skills:
1. Command Skeleton - This skill summons skeleton warriors which deal damage and distract enemies which helps with survival. Once it's at its maximum level you can switch to skeleton archers for much higher damage. This skill is best combined with Skeletal Mages for an army of ranged minions that can clear entire screens together. Command Skeleton also allows you to use rare equipment that increases your damage based on how many summons you have active.
2. Multishot - Multishot is great for clearing enemies and is more powerful once it's at a high level with more projectiles which can be obtained from gear. At maximum level it can also pierce enemies which further improves its clearing damage.
3. Breath of Heaven - This skill can be used in Survivor's Bane in the place of Blessed Shield for healing. It's also helpful for increased movement speed when you have the Survivor's Bane modifier that greatly lowers your movement speed. Breath of Heaven also damages enemies when it's at its maximum level.

B Tier Skills:
1. Wave of Blood - This skill is a strong filler skill when you can't get the ideal skills from the leveling up process. It shoots a blood projectile away from the character but it's not as powerful as the S Tier and A Tier skills.
2. Bone Spear - This is the starter Necromancer skill that becomes more powerful with increased projectiles from rare equipment. It auto-targets enemies, pierces, and deals solid damage if you need a filler skill.
3. Magic Missile - Another filler skill that can be used to take down bosses quickly. It single targets a nearby enemy and scales with equipment that increases your projectile count.

C Tier Skills:
1. Melee Skills and Short Range Skills - You will rarely want to choose short range skills in Survivor's Bane because they deal similar damage to ranged skills but only attack up close. This makes killing enemies much more difficult in this event because you need to fight up close with short range skills which makes you take significantly more damage.

Survivor's Bane Tips Guide:
1. You should kill every rare mini-boss enemy that appears on the map for equipment upgrades which can majorly increase your damage and survivability. When using summons the increased damage per summon is a major benefit. When using projectile skills you can also look for a large increase to your number of projectiles cast by skills. Your chest armor slot is the most important slot because it can greatly increase your maximum life which helps with survival.
2. There are typically a large supply of shrines and health pools inside each map. You can make your clearing spot near a health pool if you are in danger of dying during the event. Anytime you get below 30% life you should look for a health pool to heal your character for survival.
3. Conduit shrines are low priority shrines and can be picked up any time you want to increase your clearing speed.
4. Disintegration shrines can be extremely helpful and can melt rare enemies for equipment, used on bosses to speed up boss encounters, and can be used for clearing normal monsters anytime you are about to be overwhelmed.
5. Your movement inside Survivor's Bane should mostly be for moving around to pick up nearby experience orbs. It's also okay to take a little damage when picking up experience orbs as long as you are not at low life. There are typically plenty of healing pools to use in every Survivor's Bane map that can heal you if you take too much damage.
