Invisible Ice Armor Meteor Wizard Guide

Invisible Ice Armor Meteor Wizards use Ice Armor to turn invisible with the new The Greebuk offhand essence. This Wizard build uses the Magic Missile primary with Ice Armor, Meteor, Arcane Wind, and Slow Time. The Terminus Facade helmet essence makes Slow Time greatly reduce the cooldowns of your Meteor, Arcane Wind, and Ice Armor. Using the Dead Star Striders legs essence marks an opponent causing a rain of Meteors on them over a duration and Arcane Wind is used to CC your opponents in a wind storm. Overall, this invisible Ice Armor Wizard build is one of the best PvP Wizard builds.

Paragons & Legendary Skills: Invisible Ice Armor Meteor Wizard Build

1. Slinger is the best paragon tree for damage and has increased damage and critical hit chance based on your range.

2. Gladiator is the best PvP paragon tree for this build because it gives a cheat death and helps with loss of control.

3. Vanquisher is the best paragon tree for increased magic find and has increased damage and attack speed on kills.

4. Harbinger can be used in Erebban for an absorb shield, movement speed, and to move unhindered through enemies.

5. Survivor is recommended in Vanguard when you have a low charm because it has a cheat death that works in Vanguard.

6. The recommended legendary skill is Death's Release because it makes your continual damage explode once it expires.

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance for a duration and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Increases damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and gives movement speed.

3. Blood Floe - A strong gem that increases your damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

4. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

5. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

6. Bottled Hope - Buff skills now increase your attack speed and movement speed for a medium duration on cooldown.

7. Maw of the Deep - Draws enemies in, stuns them, deals damage, and then increases your damage against them.

8. Seeping Bile - Poisons enemies, slows enemies' movement speed, and helps kill opponents after their cheat death.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase and increases your damage against elites and bosses.

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's been drop disabled.

6. Viper's Bite - This gem deals high damage over time and slows enemies' attack speed.

7. Igneous Scorn - Deals damage on critical hits and increases your damage after critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority two star legendary gem here and should be the first to be replaced with a ranked up five star gem.

8. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A strong budget one star gem that increases your skill damage and your attack speed.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is an excellent one star gem that requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior for another cheat death and Lingering Wounds which gives more damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills on a budget.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and use your highest refinement Citrines and Topaz in yellow sockets. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can also optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life into one or two gems and socket them into your equipment if they give higher refinement for increased attributes on your equipment.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star gem is a powerful legendary gem once you have high increased maximum life from ranked up five star gems. The fairly new Haunt Coil five star gem can be used to increase your damage or reduce your damage taken by up to 45% for a duration. Blood Floe is a powerful five star gem when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem is strong for this build because it provides high burst skill damage, increased area of effect, and increased movement speed from its size increase. The Seeping Bile gem is helpful in PvP and it has the added benefit of slowing opponents. When using critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment using Reforge Stones for more damage.
