Ossified Chromotera - Slow Time now also increases your skill damage.

Equalizer - Magic Missile now becomes a flaming missile with up to three charges after using a skill.

Rustic Wisdom - Black Hole now collapses stunning enemies and applying Shock.​

Terminus Facade - Slow Time causes your non-channeled skills to lower cooldowns and increase your movement speed.

Note: This essence greatly increases the amount of time you can stay invisible in PvP.

Binding Forces - Meteor now empowers you calling down Meteor that increase in damage each time they hit an enemy.

1. Grace of the Flagellant (6 Set) - Deals bonus damage every five times you deal damage to an enemy.

2. Vithu's Urges (2 Set) - Increases the duration of all beneficial effects by 30%.​​​

Note: Look for blue sockets in both of your rings for Sapphires which give armor penetration.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance for a duration and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Increases damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and gives movement speed.

3. Blood Floe - This five star gem increases your damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

4. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

5. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

6. Bottled Hope - This gem makes buff skills increase your damage and movement speed for a medium duration.

7. Maw of the Deep - Draws enemies in, deals damage, stuns enemies, and increases your damage against them.

8. Seeping Bile - Damages opponents over time, slows them, and can sometimes kill opponents after their cheat death.​​

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a medium range spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase when you deal damage and increases damage to elites and bosses.​

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem significantly increases your damage and deals some damage but it's been drop disabled.

6. Viper's Bite - A nice gem for early on that deals high damage over time which can kill opponents after a cheat death.

7. Abiding Curse - Greatly slows enemies movement speed and attack speed and increases your damage against them.

8. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A strong budget one star gem that increases your skill damage and your attack speed.

​3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Blessed Pebble - This great one star gem increases your beneficial effects durations and your movement speed.

5. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is an excellent one star gem that requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior for a cheat death and Lingering Wounds which gives increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong in PvP because they damage nearby opponents and mark them reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They're also capable of having 170+ Resilience to reduce the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any budget familiar with Savior for a cheat death with great passive skills.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and use your highest refinement Citrines and Topaz in yellow sockets. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can also optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life into one or two gems and socket them into your equipment if they give higher refinement for more attributes on your equipment.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star legendary gem is a powerful gem once you have high increased maximum life from having high resonance. The fairly new Haunt Coil five star gem can be used to increase your damage or reduce your damage taken by up to 45% for a duration. Blood Floe is a powerful five star gem when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem is strong for this build because it provides high burst skill damage, increased area of effect, and increased movement speed from its size increase. The Seeping Bile gem is great for PvP and it has the added benefit of slowing opponents. When using critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment using Reforge Stones for more damage.​
