Diablo Immortal: The Meta PvP Necromancer

Main Hand

Defiling Swarm - Grim Scythe now creates whirling scythes that orbit you and deal damage to nearby enemies.

Wraithvexed - Bone Spirit now teleports you and deals damage in an area around you.

Corpse Splitter - Bone Spirit now also silences enemies and prevents their use of skills on cooldown.

Scattered Light - Skeletal Mages are now unkillable, summon passively, and can sacrifice themselves to remove total loss of control effects from you.

Fateful Frame - Grim Scythe now also marks enemies causing them to take damage after they're attacked five times.

Cutthroat Arch - Skeletal Mages now also increase your critical hit chance when they deal damage.

Chest

Skin To Bones - Bone Spirits damage is increased each time it hits the same enemy stacking up to three times.

​

Legs

Ravening Silence - Grim Scythe now also instantly triggers damage over time effects on the target. This causes damage over time effects to instantly trigger their full duration instead of just repeatedly refreshing their duration on hit.​

Recommended Attribute Priority (PvM/PvP)

1. Willpower (Potency/Resistances)

2. Fortitude (Armor/Armor Penetration)

3. Vitality (Maximum Life)

4. Intelligence (Primary/Skill Damage)

Note: Willpower gives Potency which increases the duration of DoTs which are instantly triggered with this build.

Recommended Sets

1. Angmet's Conflagration (4 Set) - Deals damage over time which is instantly triggered with the Ravening Silence essence.

2. Vithu's Urges (2 Set) - Increases your beneficial effects durations by 30% which includes your Wraith Form.

3. Untouchable Mountebank (2 Set) - Gives a chance to gain an absorb shield when you take damage.

Note: Look for yellow sockets on both of your rings and socket them with Citrines for more potency.

Recommended Skill Enchants

1. Wraith Form skill enchants reduce the cooldown of Wraith Form when you move which is important for PvP.

2. Bone Spirit skill enchants can be used to increase the range of Bone Spirit.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance on cooldown and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.​

4. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a six second duration with a twenty second cooldown.​

3. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

5. Blood Floe - Strong five star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

6. Haunt Coil - Greatly increases your damage or reduces your damage taken for a medium duration on cooldown.

7. Bottled Hope - Increases your damage and movement speed when you use a buff skill for a duration on cooldown.

8. ​Frozen Heart - Gives a shield and chills opponents which is important for PvP because this build fights in melee range.​

Note: Bottled Hope should be replaced with a Pain Clasp or Crimson Behelit two star gem at lower resonance levels.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a damaging spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases critical hit chance.

4. Viper's Bite - A nice gem for early on that deals damage over time if you have low rank legendary gems and resonance.

5. Fervent Fang - This gem gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase when they're hit by your attacks.

6. Mourneskull - Great legacy gem that increases your damage and deals damage but it's drop disabled.

7. Igneous Scorn - Can be used with Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament to deal damage on critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority two star gem here and should be the first to be replaced with a ranked up five star gem.

8. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy PvP gem for increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: Viper's Bite isn't needed to trigger Pain Clasp because this build already has multiple sources of continuous damage. Pain Clasp, Crimson Behelit, and Mother's Lament are the top three 2 star gems for this build and should be replaced last.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Misery Elixir - Increases the duration of continual damage which is great for the single target setup.

2. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

​3. Entropic Well - A great one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and increases your attack speed.

4. Everlasting Torment - Deals damage over time after critical hits and increases your attack speed.

5. Surging Sea - A lower priority one star gem that has a stacking skill damage increase that stacks up to 10 times.

6. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye and Misery Elixir are the most powerful one star gems for this build and should be replaced last. Faltergrasp is also a nice utility gem for PvP that slows enemies and disables dash skills which counters multiple builds.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the Dusckprowler lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Can have Savior for a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for more damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong in PvP because they deal damage and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for three seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - Use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as a budget option.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increase the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added DoT damage in red sockets and Citrines for potency to increase harmful effects durations in yellow sockets which are both important for this build. You can combine all of your bound Rubies which give life and use one or two in red sockets if they give higher refinement. Refinement is determined by the quality of the gem and increases the attributes of the gear the gem is socketed in. You can use one or two of your highest refinement Topazes for resistances early on but you will eventually want to make the switch to just Citrines for higher potency. The full duration of your damage over time will be instantly triggered on this build so potency is a major damage increase. You should also socket your highest refinement Aquamarines and/or Sapphires which give armor and armor penetration in blue sockets.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star gem is a powerful legendary gem once you have high increased maximum life from resonance and Rubies which give life. The fairly new Haunt Coil five star gem can be used for PvP to increase your damage or reduce your damage taken. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem is great for builds that need increased area of effect, burst damage, knockback immunity, and movement speed (from its size increase). When using increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment using Reforge Stones for increased damage. The Frozen Heart five star legendary gem is also recommended for PvP because it gives a large absorb shield and it chills opponents which is helpful for survival in PvP when you're fighting in melee range with this build.​
