Rattling Shell (PvM) - Each summoned wolf increases your movement speed by 20%, stacking up to 60%.

Burnsocket (PvP) - Fire Tornado now also generates one Primal Power for each enemy that's hit by it up to ten.

Goring Brace (PvM) - Ferocious Strike now also generates additional Primal Power when hitting an enemy.

Ravenous Wilds (PvP) - Thorn Armor now also shatters enemies' armor increasing your critical hit damage against them.

Kindling Crown - Fire Tornado now surrounds you with a burning aura that moves with you damaging nearby enemies.

Coat of Fecundity (PvM) - Thorn Armor now is an aura that causes burning enemies to take additional damage.

Kiegfran - Raven Swarm now also generates Primal Power for your skills when it hits an enemy.

Mudrooters (PvM) - Summon Wolves now also heal themselves for a portion of the damage they deal.​

Wanton Buck (PvP) - Stag Charge now causes you to charge forward immune to knockback and loss of control and knocks back enemies it hits.

1. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - Deals additional damage to enemies after every five times they take damage.

2. Vithu's Urges (2-4 Set) - Increases the duration of beneficial effects by 30% including your Fire Tornado skill.

2. Untouchable Mountebank (2 Set PvP) - Gives a chance to gain an absorb shield each time you take damage.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

4. Blood Floe - A strong legendary gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

5. Golden Firmament - Attacks repeatedly with ranged wind blades and increases your evasion rating.

6. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.​

7. Wulfheort (PvM) - Deals damage when an enemy is hit on cooldown and increases you and your allies' attack speed.

8. Seeping Bile (PvP) - Deals damage over time which is great for killing opponents after they use a cheat death.

9. Void Spark (PvM) - Causes damage to fire chain lightning at enemies on hit and increases your attack speed.

10. Frozen Heart (PvP) - Gives an absorb shield for a medium duration and chills opponents.​

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits land and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase and increases damage against bosses and elites.​

5. Igneous Scorn - Can be combined with critical hit chance legendary gems to deal damage on critical hits.

6. Viper's Bite - A low priority two star gem that poisons enemies and slows enemies' attack speed.

7. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's currently drop disabled.

8. Crimson Behelit - A strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: The Pain Clasp gem is already triggered by burning continuous damage so Viper's Bite isn't needed to trigger it. Pain Clasp, Crimson Behelit, and Mother's Lament are the top three 2 star gems and should be replaced last.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken by 5%.

2. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

3. Entropic Well - An excellent budget one star legendary gem with increased skill damage and increased attack speed.

4. Surging Sea - A lower priority one star gem that has a stacking skill damage increase that stacks up to 10 times.

5. Ca'arsen's Invigoration - A lower priority one star legendary gem that increases your primary attack speed.

6. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: The Berserker's Eye one star gem is very powerful and takes a ranked up 4 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can also use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are all desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and a combination of Citrines and Topazes for potency and resistances in yellow sockets for the highest refinement. Potency increases harmful effects durations on enemies and resistances decrease harmful effects durations on you. Citrines for potency is preferred if you only care about damage but, resistances come into play more with PvP. You should use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life into one or two high refinement Rubies and socket them into your equipment if they give more refinement. Gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star gem is a powerful legendary gem once you have high resonance five star gems because its damage is scaled off of your maximum life. The fairly new Haunt Coil five star gem can optionally be used for PvP to reduce your damage taken against one target by up to 45% for a duration. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. Golden Firmament is also a solid five star gem that attacks with multiple wind blades, increases your evasion rating, and creates Firestorms when mixed with burning damage which increases your wind damage. When using multiple increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider using Reforge Stones to roll increased critical hit damage on your equipment for more damage. The Frozen Heart five star legendary gem is also recommended for PvP for an absorb shield and to chill opponents.​
