Crackling Compiler - After using a skill your next Electrocute within 2 seconds deals additional damage to nearby enemies.

Silver Lining - Black Hole now also increases the damage you deal for a duration when it hits enemies.

Crash Rider - Lightning Nova now becomes a dash skill that damages enemies and charges up with primary attacks.

Raptor's Tail - When Disintegrate hits a Shocked enemy it also unleashes chain lightning that damages nearby enemies.

Recommended Sets

1. Gloomguide's Prize (4 Set) - Increases your critical hit chance after using a dash skill for three seconds.

2. Vithu's Urges (2-4 Set) - Increases the duration of all beneficial effects by 30% and increases your attack speed.

3. Untouchable Mountebank (PvP 2 Set) - Gives a chance to gain an absorb shield when you are damaged.

Note: Untouchable Mountebank is recommended as a PvP option but this build isn't meant for PvP fights.

 

Best Curses

1. Lashed - Use at least four items with this curse to make primary attacks cause three damaging whips on cooldown.

2. Atrophied - Use at least two items with this curse to make your damage over time create a damage field for a duration.

3. Wired - Optional to create a surge of lightning on kill that jumps between enemies with a medium length cooldown.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Increases damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and gives movement speed.

3. Blood Floe - A strong legendary gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

4. ​Golden Firmament - Repeatedly casts multiple wind blades at nearby enemies and increases your evasion rating.

5. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

6. Wulfheort - Marks enemies for a duration causing them to take extra damage when they're hit on cooldown.

7. ​Starfire Shard - This legendary gem deals AoE damage to enemies, stuns them, and burns them over time.​

8. Void Spark - Deals massive AoE damage that's effective for challenge dungeons, terror rifts, and speed farming.​​

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a blood spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase and increases your damage against elites and bosses.​

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage to enemies but it has been drop disabled.

6. Viper's Bite - Lower priority two star legendary gem that deals damage over time and slows enemies attack speed.

7. Igneous Scorn (PvM) - Deals damage on critical hits and increases your damage after critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority 2 star legendary gem here and should be the first to be replaced with a ranked up five star gem.

8. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A strong budget 1 star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and attack speed.

​3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem that requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as an alternative.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and use your highest refinement Citrines and Topaz in yellow sockets. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life and socket them into your equipment if they give higher refinement. Gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement is used to increase the attributes on the pieces of equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The new Haunt Coil five star gem isn't recommended on this build because AoE damage is more important than defenses for this build. The fairly new Blood Floe five star gem is strong when it's combined with multiple sources of critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem is excellent for this build because it provides high burst skill damage, increased area of effect, and increased movement speed from its size increase. When using increased critical hit chance gems you should also consider rolling critical hit damage on your equipment using Reforge Stones for more damage.​
