Mandate of Ksathra (PvP) - Breaker also gives an absorb shield and makes you immune to one loss of control effect.

Howling Anchor (PvM) - Crosswinds now also causes enemies to bleed over five seconds.​

Flaring Lighthouse (PvP) - Breaker now dashes forward dealing damage, conjures a Zephyr, and gives an absorb shield.

Note: Howling Anchor counts as continuous damage which triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp gem.

Recommended Sets

1. Vithu's Urges (2-4 Set) - Increases the duration of beneficial effects by 30% and gives an attack speed increase.

2. Gloomguide's Prize (4 Set) - Increases your damage and critical hit chance for three seconds after using a dash skill.

3. Untouchable Mountebank (PvP 2 Set) - Gives a chance to gain an absorb shield which is great for PvP.

Best Curses

1. Lashed - Use at least four items with this curse to make primary attacks cause three damaging whips on cooldown.

2. Vexed - You can optionally use two of this curse for a damaging roar when your minions are summoned on cooldown.​​

​3. Nettled (PvP) - Optional for PvP to counterattack opponents after gaining an absorb shield.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Golden Firmament - Causes multiple ranged wind attacks and increases your evasion rating.

3. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect for Crosswinds (important), knockback immunity, and increased size which increases your movement speed for a medium duration on cooldown.

4. Blood Floe - Increases your damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes enemies to bleed.

5. Gloom Cask - Deals damage on primary attacks on cooldown and increases the damage of your primary attacks.

6. Starfire Shard - Deals AoE damage and stuns enemies in PvP inside the Maw of the Deep legendary gem effect.

7. Maw of the Deep - Used at a high rank to deal damage, gain a damage buff, draw in enemies, and stun enemies.

8. Wulfheort (PvM) - After damaging enemies 5 times you slash them and increase the attack speed of you and your allies.

9. ​Frozen Heart (PvP) - A strong legendary gem for PvP that gives an absorb shield and chills opponents.​

Note: The Mother's Lament two star critical hit chance legendary gem can optionally be used with the new Blood Floe critical hit chance and critical hit damage legendary gem in the place of Wulfheort at lower resonance levels.

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage when enemies have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Viper's Bite (PvP) - Deals damage over time which triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp legendary gem.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that makes enemies bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase when you hit an enemy stacking up to ten times.

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem can be used to increase your damage and deal damage but it no longer drops.​

6. Igneous Scorn - Can be used with Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament to deal damage on critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority 2 star gem and should be the first to be replaced with a rank 4+ five star gem.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: The Howling Anchor essence has bleed damage which triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp gem.

Best 1 Star Starter Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A great budget one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and attack speed.

3. Everlasting Torment - A budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a strong one star legendary gem that needs a ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior skill which provides a cheat death. The 170+ Resilience is used to lower the cooldown of Savior but can be lower to make the familiar more affordable.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Any Savior Familiar - Look for any 170+ Resilience familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills.

4. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate which gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide which gives a chance to block, Precision which gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity which lowers the cooldown of the shield are also desirable.

5. Magic Duskprowler - Duskprowler shields are hard to replace so a rare or magic ability Duskprowler is the budget option.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and a combination of Citrines and Topazes for potency and resistances in yellow sockets for the highest refinement. Potency increases harmful effects durations on enemies and resistances decrease harmful effects durations on you. Citrines for potency is preferred if you only care about PvM damage but resistances come into play more with PvP. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life into one or two Rubies and socket them into your equipment if they give more refinement. Gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The Blood Floe gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine legendary gem is excellent for this build because it increases the area of effect of Crosswinds, increases your skill damage, has knockback immunity, and gives increased movement speed from its size increase. The Viper's Bite and Seeping Bile legendary gems deal continuous damage but they aren't needed to trigger the damage increase on the Pain Clasp legendary gem from there being continuous damage on the enemy because you will already have bleed from the Howling Anchor essence. Golden Firmament is a very strong 5 star legendary gem that has wind damage, increased evasion rating, and it triggers Firestorms when combined with burning damage which increases your wind damage. When using multiple increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should consider rolling increased critical hit damage on every piece of gear with Reforge Stones for increased damage. You should also roll increased beneficial effect duration which is very important for 100% skill uptime. One of your lowest priority legendary gems can be switched to a Frozen Heart five star legendary gem for PvP for an absorb shield and to chill opponents.​
