Autumnal Crest - Slow Time now follows you damaging and Shocking nearby enemies.

Coat of the Astrum - Lightning Nova now arc between enemies leaving behind a spark that damages Shocked enemies.

Raptor's Tail - When Disintegrate hits a Shocked enemy it releases chain lightning on enemies.

Recommended Sets

1. Vithu's Urges (2 Set) - Increases the duration of beneficial effects on you or your party members by 30%.

2. Grace of the Flagellant (6 Set) - Deals additional damage after every 5 hits and has a 4% chance to deal high damage.

Best Curses

1. Lashed - Using your primary attack gives a chance to generate three crackling whips that damage enemies.

2. Atrophied - Continual damage causes a dark field to appear under enemies that deals damage over time.​

3. Wired - Creates a surge of lightning on kill that jumps between enemies with a medium length cooldown.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Golden Firmament - Deals wind damage and increases evasion rating.

3. ​Seeping Bile - Gives a 4% chance to poison enemies and slows enemies movement speed (triggers Pain Clasp).

4. Maw of the Deep - Useful at a decent rank to deal damage, gain a damage buff, draw in enemies, and stun enemies.

5. ​Starfire Shard - The lowest priority 5 star gem that can be used at a high rank in both PvM and PvP to deal damage.

6. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives a damage increase and a significant boost to movement speed. It's one of the best 5 star gems at high ranks for damage and one of the weakest 5 star gems for damage at lower ranks.​

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies with a continual damage effect on them.

2. Viper's Bite - Poisons enemies and triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp legendary gem.

3. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a blood spike that causes enemies to bleed.

4. Fervant Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase and increases your damage against elites and bosses.

5. Power & Command - Alternates between increased skill damage and increased primary damage and sometimes dispels.

Best Starter 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Entropic Well - An excellent one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and attack speed.

2. Berserker's Eye - Increases your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

​3. Everlasting Torment - Deals damage over time on crits which triggers the damage increase on Pain Clasp.

Note: Replace Everlasting Torment first once you can afford higher resonance two or five star gems.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler that has Savior which provides a cheat death. The 170+ Resilience lowers the cooldown for Savior but can be lower to make it more affordable.

2. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill and gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice in 3 seconds. Innervate which gives a chance at resetting the player's skill cooldown, Steel Hide which gives a chance to block, Precision which gives the shield critical hit chance, and Tenacity which lowers the cooldown of the shield are also desirable.

3. Magic Duskprowler - Duskprowler shields are hard to replace so a rare ability or magic Duskprowler is the budget option.

Regular Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and Citrines for Potency which increases harmful effects durations in yellow sockets. You should use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. Refinement from a gem increases the main stats of the piece of equipment the gem is socketed in. You can optionally combine all of your Rubies which give life and Topazes which give resistances into one Ruby and one Topaz and socket one of each in your equipment for a higher level of refinement.​

Gem Notes

The new Colossus Engine legendary gem isn't included in the recommendations because it would take about rank 8 until it would be an upgrade over other more easily accessible options. Viper's Bite and Seeping Bile deal continual damage which are used to deal damage over time and trigger the damage increase on the Pain Clasp legendary gem. Golden Firmament is a strong new 5 star gem that has wind damage, increased evasion rating, and triggers Firestorms when mixed with burning damage. Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament both give increased critical hit chance and pair well with Everlasting Torment and Igneous Scorn which deal damage on critical hits. You should also consider rolling critical hit damage on every piece of gear with Reforge Stones when using these crit gems. Igneous Scorn and Everlasting Torment are the lowest priority legendary gems on the list and should be replaced once you can afford leveled 5 star gems. ​
