Bardiche of Below - Whirling Strike now releases a projectile blast and gains three charges.

Woundwell - Umbral Lance now instantly fires waves of projectiles and gains three charges.

Blotniffe - Umbral Lance now also deals increased damage the further away you are from the target.

Mercy's Plight - Shadow's Edge now also marks enemies causing them to take damage when they reach four marks.

Shed Velvet - Siphon Blood now drains enemies' life and movement speed with a large area of effect.

Chest

Skin Upon Steel - Transfusion makes life drain increase its shield instead and is automatically activated at low life.

Shoulders

Empress Pariah - Siphon Blood now also gives an absorb shield.

Note: This shoulder essence is great for improved survivability without the Abomination skill and is important for this build.

No Beneficial Essence - You can use any legs essence in this slot.​

1. Vithu's Urges (4 Set) - Increases beneficial effects durations and increases your attack speed after using a buff skill.

2. Untouchable Mountebank (4 Set) - Gives a 20% chance to gain a large absorb shield when you take damage.​​​​​

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

4. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

5. Haunt Coil - Increases your damage in offensive stance or reduces your damage taken in defensive stance.

6. Blood Floe - Lower priority 5 star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

7. ​Frozen Heart - A strong legendary gem for PvP that gives an absorb shield and chills opponents.​

8. Seeping Bile - Deals damage over time that is great for killing opponents after they use a cheat death.

Note: The Seeping Bile gem and the Viper's Bite gem aren't needed to trigger Pain Clasp with the Siphon Blood skill.

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that makes enemies bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase when they're hit by your attacks.​

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's currently drop disabled.

6. Igneous Scorn - Can be combined with Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament to deal damage on critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority 2 star gem on the list and should eventually be replaced with a 5 star gem.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong PvP legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: The Siphon Blood skill triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp gem fromt here being continuous damage on the enemy. Pain Clasp, Crimson Behelit, and Mother's Lament are the top three 2 star gems and should be replaced last.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - An excellent budget one star gem with increased skill damage that should eventually be replaced.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Ca'arsen's Invigoration - A lower priority one star legendary gem that increases your primary attack speed.

5. Faltergrasp - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem and requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience is important for lowering the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as an alternative.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate which gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide which gives a chance to block, Precision which gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity which lowers the cooldown of the shield are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and prioritize Topazes for resistances which lowers harmful effects durations on you in yellow sockets. You can also use your bound Citrines which gives potency and Rubies which give life to create one or two of each gem and use them if they have higher refinement. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. Gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star gem is a powerful legendary gem that scales with your maximum life which increases with resonance. The fairly new Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine five star gem is great for increased skill damage, increased area of effect, temporary knockback immunity, and increased size which increases your movement speed. The Viper's Bite and Seeping Bile gems deal damage over time but they're not needed to trigger the damage increase on the Pain Clasp two star gem from having continuous damage on the enemy because Siphon Blood already deals continuous damage. The Golden Firmament five star gem should also be used for wind damage, increased evasion rating, and it also triggers Firestorms when it's mixed with burning damage which increases your wind damage. When using multiple legendary gems with increased critical hit chance you also should consider rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment with Reforge Stones. You should also use a Frozen Heart five star gem for PvP for an absorb shield and to chill opponents. ​
