1. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - Deals damage to enemies after every 5 hits against each target.

2. Untouchable Mountebank (4 Set) - Gives a 20% chance to gain an absorb shield when you take damage.

Best Curses

1. Lashed - Using your primary attack gives a chance to generate three crackling whips that damage enemies.

​2. Ghosted (PvP) - Summons a minion to take some of your incoming damage.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Golden Firmament - Causes multiple ranged wind attacks and increases your evasion rating.

4. Starfire Shard - Deals AoE damage and stuns enemies in PvP inside the Maw of the Deep legendary gem effect.

5. Maw of the Deep - Can be used at a high rank to deal damage, gain a damage buff, draw in enemies, and stun enemies.

6. Blood Floe - Increases your damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes enemies to bleed.

7. ​Frozen Heart (PvP) - A strong legendary gem for PvP that gives an absorb shield and chills opponents.​

8. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, increased size (which also increases your movement speed), and knockback immunity for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

Note: The Seeping Bile gem and the Viper's Bite gem aren't needed to trigger Pain Clasp with the Mephitic Cloud skill.

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continual damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that makes enemies bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase when they are hit by an attack.​

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's currently drop disabled.

6. Igneous Scorn - Can be combined with Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament to deal damage on critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority 2 star gem on the list and should eventually be replaced with a 5 star gem.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong PvP gem that gives increased damage and reduced damage taken but it's drop disabled.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - An excellent budget one star gem with increased skill damage that should eventually be replaced.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem and requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill for a cheat death. The 170+ Resilience is useful to lower the cooldown of Savior but can be lower to make the familiar more affordable.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate which gives a chance at resetting the player's skill cooldown, Steel Hide which gives a chance to block, Precision which gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity which lowers the cooldown of the shield are also desirable.

4. Magic Duskprowler - Duskprowler shields are hard to replace so a rare or magic ability Duskprowler is the budget option.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and Topazes for resistances which lower harmful effects durations in yellow sockets. You should also socket your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your Rubies which give life and Citrines which give Potency for longer continual damage duration into one or two Rubies and Topazes and use them in your equipment for higher refinement. Refinement is determined by the quality of the gem and increases the attributes on your equipment.

Gem Notes

The Blood Floe gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine legendary gem is great for increasing your skill damage, increases your area of effect, gives temporary knockback immunity, and increases your size which also increases your movement speed. The fairly new Specter Glass two star legendary gem is one of the best two star gems for almost every build. The Viper's Bite and Seeping Bile legendary gems deal damage over time but they're not needed to trigger the damage increase on the Pain Clasp legendary gem from having continual damage on the target because Mephitic Cloud already deals continual damage. The Golden Firmament 5 star legendary gem also should be used for wind damage, increased evasion rating, and to trigger Firestorms when mixed with burning damage which increases your wind damage. The Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament legendary gems give increased critical hit chance so you should consider rolling critical hit damage on every piece of equipment with Reforge Stones when using these critical hit chance gems. A lower priority legendary gem should also optionally be switched to a Frozen Heart for PvP for an absorb shield and to chill opponents for better survival.​
