Bardiche of Below - Whirling Strike now releases a blast and gains three charges.

Blotniffe - Umbral Lance deals increased damage the further away you are from the target.

Mercy's Plight - Shadow's Edge now marks enemies causing them to take damage when reaching 4 marks.

Bloodfeast - Mephitic Cloud now follows you damaging nearby enemies and draining their life.

Recommended Sets

1. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - Deals bonus damage after damaging an enemy five times.

2. Untouchable Mountebank (4 Set) - Gives a 20% chance to gain an absorb shield when you take damage.

Best Curses

1. Lashed - Use at least four items with this curse to make primary attacks cause three damaging whips on cooldown.

​2. Ghosted (PvP) - Summons a minion to take some of your incoming damage.

​

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Golden Firmament - Causes multiple ranged wind attacks and increases your evasion rating.

4. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

5. Starfire Shard - Deals AoE damage and stuns enemies in PvP inside the Maw of the Deep legendary gem effect.

6. Maw of the Deep - Can be used at a high rank to deal damage, gain a damage buff, draw in enemies, and stun enemies.

7. Blood Floe - Lower priority 5 star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

8. Wulfheort (PvM) - After damaging enemies 5 times you slash them and increase attack speed for you and your allies.

9. ​Frozen Heart (PvP) - A strong legendary gem for PvP that gives an absorb shield and chills opponents.​

Note: The Seeping Bile gem and the Viper's Bite gem aren't needed to trigger Pain Clasp with the Mephitic Cloud skill.

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that makes enemies bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase when they are hit by an attack.​

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's currently drop disabled.

6. Igneous Scorn - Can be combined with Roiling Consequence and Mother's Lament to deal damage on critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority 2 star gem on the list and should eventually be replaced with a 5 star gem.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong PvP legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: The Mephitic Cloud skill with the Bloodfeast helmet essence triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp gem.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - An excellent budget one star gem with increased skill damage that should eventually be replaced.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem and requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience is important for lowering the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Any Savior Familiar - Look for any 170+ Resilience familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills.

4. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate which gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide which gives a chance to block, Precision which gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity which lowers the cooldown of the shield are also desirable.

5. Magic Duskprowler - Duskprowler shields are hard to replace so a rare or magic ability Duskprowler is the budget option.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and prioritize Topazes for resistances which lowers harmful effects durations on you in yellow sockets. You can also use your bound Citrines which gives potency and Rubies which give life to create one or two of each gem and use them if they have higher refinement. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. Gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The Blood Floe gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine legendary gem is great for increasing your skill damage, increases your area of effect, gives temporary knockback immunity, and increases your size which also increases your movement speed. The Viper's Bite and Seeping Bile legendary gems deal damage over time but they're not needed to trigger the damage increase on the Pain Clasp legendary gem from having continuous damage on the target because Mephitic Cloud already deals continuous damage. The Golden Firmament 5 star legendary gem should also be used for wind damage, increased evasion rating, and to trigger Firestorms when mixed with burning damage which increases your wind damage. When using multiple increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling increased critical hit damage on every piece of equipment using Reforge Stones for increased damage. A lower priority legendary gem should also be switched to a Frozen Heart five star legendary gem for PvP for an absorb shield and to chill opponents for better survival.​
