Loamskull - Werewolf now burns nearby enemies and damages enemies when primary attacks critically hit.

Scar Carver - Werewolf (Rend and Tear) now causes you to dash forward and follows it up with a powerful attack.

Note: If you want a non-dash variation that has better single target damage you can use the Distant Hissing essence here.

Nyteflurry - Raven Swarm now damages enemies when you use your primary attacks and skills for a duration.

Off-Hand 2

Tuskguard (PvM) - Summon Oak Sage minions attack enemies and deal additional damage to enemies if they're burning.

Ravenous Wilds (PvP) - Thorn Armor now also makes the target take increased critical hit damage stacking three times.

Wildebrute - Werewolf (Lunge) now causes you to flicker out of site and dash at nearby enemies up to three times.

Chest

Coat of Fecundity (PvM) - Thorn Armor now is an aura that causes burning enemies to take additional damage.

Barbmantle (PvP) - Thorn Armor now shields only you, casts automatically, and damages nearby enemies.

Shoulders

All Are Prey - Werewolf now also has 29% increased damage reduced for each ally within 5 yards, up to -10%.

Thrivegreaves (PvM) - Werewolf (Rend and Tear) now also has increased critical hit chance and gains a primal power cost.​

Ald Abundance (PvP) - Rabid Might now increases your maximum life and temporarily increases primary attack damage.

1. Gloomguide's Prize (4 Set) - Increases your critical hit chance after using a dash skill.

2. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - Deals additional damage to enemies after every five times they take damage.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

4. Blood Floe - A strong legendary gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

5. Golden Firmament - Repeatedly attacks with ranged wind blades and increases your evasion rating.

6. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.​

7. Echoing Shade (PvM) - Useful at low to mid resonance to summon 1-3 minions that use your primary attacks.

8. Seeping Bile (PvP) - Deals damage over time that is great for killing opponents after they use a cheat death.

9. Void Spark (PvM) - Causes damage to fire chain lightning at enemies on hit and increases your attack speed.

10. Frozen Heart (PvP) - Gives an absorb shield for a medium duration and chills opponents.​

Note: Echoing Shade should only be used in PvM because its minions are strifed which gives a reduced duration in PvP.

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that makes enemies bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase when they're hit by attacks.​

5. Igneous Scorn - Can be combined with critical hit chance legendary gems to deal damage on critical hits.

6. Viper's Bite - A low priority two star gem that poisons enemies and slows their attack speed.

7. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's currently drop disabled.

8. Crimson Behelit - A strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: The Pain Clasp gem is already triggered by burning continuous damage so Viper's Bite isn't needed to trigger it. Pain Clasp, Crimson Behelit, and Mother's Lament are the top three 2 star gems and should be replaced last.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Freedom and Devotion - A budget one star gem that increases the duration of your minions and increases their damage.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

Note: The Entropic Well one star gem isn't recommended because increased skill damage doesn't work on your minions.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as an alternative.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and a combination of Citrines and Topazes for potency and resistances in yellow sockets for the highest refinement. Potency increases harmful effects durations on enemies and resistances decrease harmful effects durations on you. Citrines for potency is preferred if you only care about damage but, resistances come into play more with PvP. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life into one or two Rubies and socket them into your equipment if they give more refinement. Gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The new Fated Trail five star gem is a powerful legendary gem once you have ranked up five star gems because its damage is scaled off of your maximum life. The fairly new Haunt Coil five star gem can optionally be used for PvP to reduce your damage taken against one target by up to 45% for a duration. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Echoing Shade legendary gem deals surprisingly high single target damage with the Druids powerful primary attacks in PvM at a low to mid resonance. The Wulfheort five star gem works well with your Werewolf form's burning damage aura and it also increases the attack speed of your minions. When using multiple increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider using Reforge Stones to roll increased critical hit damage on your equipment for increased damage. The Frozen Heart five star legendary gem is also recommended for PvP for an absorb shield and to chill opponents.​
