Path of Exile Str Kinetic Blast Berserker A2_edited.jpg

Important Tree Nodes

The best ascendancy order is Flawless Savagery, Crave the Slaughter, Rite of Ruin, and Blitz. You should stack strength with this build because it greatly increases the damage of Kinetic Blast. The Reservation Mastery and Mana Mastery are important so that you can use the recommended reservation skills. A Watcher's Eye jewel is also recommended for up to 6% life, 6% energy shield, 6% mana, added cold damage while affected by Hatred, critical strike chance while affected by Hatred, and optionally spell suppression while affected by Grace. If you use an armour base strength stack helmet you can also get Bleed immunity from the Armour and Evasion Mastery which allows you to use a damage flask instead of a Bleeding/Corrupted Blood removal flask. The Iron Grip node is extremely important because it makes strengths melee damage also apply to projectile damage. You should also use a large cluster jewel for three damage increase notables and strength, a medium cluster jewel with Aerodynamics so that projectiles pierce another enemy, and a small cluster jewel with Sublime Form for increased mana reservation efficiency for Grace. This is a life build so make sure and take a healthy amount of the nearby life percent nodes for survival.

Defensive Layers

You will have very high life on this build from stacking strength which also gives life. This ascendancy also has very fast attack speed and movement speed from the Blitz ascendancy and Rage which make it much easier to avoid fight mechanics and they will also both increase your farming speed. You will have a very high chance to block attacks with The Iron Fortress which is the recommended body armour because it gives 1% increased chance to block attack damage per 50 strength.

Reservation Skills

Grace is the best defensive aura for this build and gives very high evasion. Hatred is the best offensive aura for this build and gives increased cold damage and physical damage as added cold damage. Herald of Purity is selected to give increased physical damage and it also summons four minions that can help take the damage from enemies for you. Dread Banner is a significant damage increase for this build because it gives a chance to Impale, increased Impale effect, and it also lowers the accuracy of nearby enemies. You can use these auras once you have the increased mana reservation efficiency from the Reservation Mastery and Mana Mastery, the 50% mana reservation efficiency for Grace from a Sublime Form notable small cluster jewel, and a leveled Enlighten Support to reduce the mana reservation costs of your skills.

Gem Notes

  1. Steelskin is the recommended guard skill for this build because Immortal Call requires you to use potions more often and Molten Shell requires very high armor to be effective.

  2. With the changes in 3.23 Power Siphon with Barrage Support no longer casts in a line for single target but thanks to this being a physical damage based Kinetic Blast/Power Siphon build Impale Support was a very strong replacement. Sacred Wisps is also new in 3.24 and is now one of the most powerful support gems for wand builds.

  3. Enduring Cry is used to bolster your defenses by giving a large 2200 life heal over one second, generates Endurance charges, and gives an extra 2% increased physical damage reduction and 2% increased elemental resistances per charge. Enduring Cry should also be linked to Call To Arms to make Enduring Cry instantly cast on cooldown.

  4. Summon Flame Golem gives 20% increased damage, replenishes 2% life on Culling Strike, kills enemies at 10% life with Culling Strike Support, and provides an extra target for enemies to attack.

  5. If you think you would prefer an energy shield based intelligence stacking build you can also check out the Intelligence Stacking Kinetic Blast Deadeye Guide which can be found here Intelligence Stack Kinetic Blast Deadeye Guide.

Equipment

Weapon

Rare Imbued Wand

Look for a rare Imbued Wand that has the highest physical damage per second that you can find because this is a physical damage build. Added fire damage per strength is purely optional but is a great modifier if you can find one on a wand that also has extremely high physical damage. You can also use Tempering Orbs on rare weapons for a low chance at getting an increased physical modifiers enchantment but be aware that doing this can sometimes reforge the sockets.

Shield

Strength Synthesised Shield

Look for a shield with a 6% increased strength synthesis and roll tier one strength, high life, high attack speed, block chance, and resistances. Deafening Essences of Rage can be used to guarantee the tier one strength modifier.

Armour

The Iron Fortress

Gives 1% chance to block attack damage per 50 strength, strength's damage bonus instead applies 3% increased melee physical damage per 10 strength (which is converted to projectile damage), up to 120 strength, chance to block spell damage is unlucky, and 10% reduced movement speed.
