Important Tree Nodes

The best ascendancy order is Crave the Slaughter, Flawless Savagery, Warbringer, and Rite of Ruin. A Watcher's Eye jewel is recommended for up to 6% life, 6% energy shield, 6% mana, 60% increased physical damage while using Pride, 25% increased chance to Impale enemies while using Pride, and if you can afford it 12% chance to deal double damage while using Pride. The Mana Mastery is also important and gives 12% increased mana reservation efficiency so that you can use the recommended reservation skills. Make sure and take as many of the nearby life percent nodes as you can for survival.

Defensive Layers

The Rite of Ruin ascendancy provides you with high movement speed and stun immunity which is important for Cyclone. This build also uses Fortify Support which makes you take 20% less damage from hits. Enduring Cry can give up to a 2347 life heal with high cooldown recovery from the recommended Redblade Banner shield. Enduring Cry generates Endurance charges and reduces your physical damage taken. This melee build also has the strong defensive advantage of using a shield.

Reservation Skills

Grace is the best defensive aura for this build and gives very high evasion. Pride is the best offensive aura for this build and greatly increases your physical damage. Dread Banner should also be used and gives a chance to Impale, increased Impale effect, and lowers the accuracy of nearby enemies. Pride can be used once you have the 12% mana reservation efficiency from the Mana Mastery and a leveled Enlighten Support to lower the mana reservation cost of your skills.

Gem Notes

  1. Steelskin is the recommended guard skill for this build because Immortal Call requires you to use potions more often and Molten Shell requires very high armor to be effective

  2. Rage Vortex of Berserking creates a Ragestorm when you cast it with at least 10 Rage. The Ragestorm follows you around as long as you still have Rage which means you can also channel Cyclone to attack enemies at the same time.

  3. Vaal Ancestral Warchief and Ancestral Protector can be used together to give increased melee damage and increased attack speed buffs on the tougher enemies that take more than ten seconds to take down.

  4. Enduring Cry is used to bolster your defenses by giving a large 2200 life heal over one second, generates Endurance charges, gives an extra 2% increased physical damage reduction per charge, and gives 2% increased elemental resistances per charge. You should also link the new Call to Arms gem to Enduring Cry to instantly cast it on cooldown.

  5. Summon Flame Golem gives up to a 20% damage increase and provides an additional target for enemies to attack.

  6. If you would like another capable Cyclone hybrid build that is excellent for bossing you can also check out the General's Cry Blade Flurry Cyclone Berserker Guide here General's Cry Blade Flurry Cyclone Berserker Guide.
