The Best 7 Runeword Combinations
Introduction: This guide teaches the top seven runeword combinations. The best Ritual runes and Invocation runes can be found before the Best 7 Runeword Combinations section. Runewords are made by combining a Ritual rune and an Invocation rune in a two socketed piece of equipment. Ritual runes are similar to trigger runes that gain 'offering' and once you have enough offering an additional effect or skill is cast by the Invocation rune. The best Ritual rune for a runeword varies depending on which trigger is the best for your build.
Best Ritual Runes:
1. Cir, Neo, Igni, Bac, Tam, and Nagu are the 7 best Ritual Runes and which ones you use in runewords will vary based on your build.
Best Invocation Runes:
1. Vex is the best Invocation Rune for all builds that are +skill dependent because it can give up to +3 to all skills.
2. Ohm is a high cost pure damage option for builds that already have enough defenses or builds that don't take high damage.
3. Wat is a defensive rune which no longer executes enemies but it casts Decrepify which slows enemies and lowers their damage.
4. Eom lowers all of your cooldowns by 0.1 seconds and is useful on builds that have several cooldown skills.
5. Kry is used for Vortex to deal damage and group enemies together for builds that need enemies grouped together for damage.
6. Yom triggers Petrify which stuns enemies and generates primary resources but it also has the drawback of having a 500 offering cost.
7. Thul no longer provides Vulnerability as of season 13 but it's still strong defensively with its Frost Nova which freezes enemies.
